The London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) Malaysia proudly launched its inaugural cybersecurity training programme, “Cybersecurity Awareness for All Users,” in collaboration with CyberSecurity Malaysia. The training session was met with overwhelming success, marking the beginning of a transformative partnership aimed at building cybersecurity awareness and resilience among students and professionals.

The training session, attended by participants from diverse backgrounds, focused on essential cybersecurity practices, online safety measures, and risk management strategies to ensure digital security in an increasingly interconnected world. The collaboration between LSBF Malaysia and CyberSecurity Malaysia underscores a shared commitment to equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools to combat cyber threats effectively.

Dr. Sajilal Divakaran, Managing Director of LSBF Malaysia, emphasized the strategic importance of this collaboration:

“Our partnership with CyberSecurity Malaysia represents a significant step in bridging the knowledge gap in cybersecurity. Through this alliance, we aim to deliver high-quality training and certification programmes that prepare our students and professionals to tackle real-world cybersecurity challenges. This initiative not only enhances their technical expertise but also strengthens Malaysia’s digital ecosystem.”

The collaboration goes beyond a single training session. LSBF Malaysia and CyberSecurity Malaysia are set to introduce a series of comprehensive training programmes and professional certification courses starting in 2025. These initiatives will cover a wide range of cybersecurity topics, from foundational awareness to advanced technical training.

Dr. Sajilal further added:

“Cyber threats are evolving rapidly, and it is our responsibility to ensure our students and professionals remain one step ahead. Our collaboration with CyberSecurity Malaysia will not only enhance cybersecurity literacy but also open pathways to promising careers in this critical industry.”

This partnership will also extend into other key areas, including awareness campaigns, research collaborations, and industry engagement initiatives, further strengthening Malaysia’s cybersecurity capabilities.

The success of the “Cybersecurity Awareness for All Users” training marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration between LSBF Malaysia and CyberSecurity Malaysia, as both institutions remain dedicated to advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and creating a safer digital future for all.
