British Degrees, Global Opportunities: LSBF Malaysia Partners with University of Chichester

KUALA LUMPUR – The London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) Malaysia Campus is set to introduce three British Bachelor’s degree programmes in collaboration with the University of Chichester, United Kingdom, further strengthening Malaysia’s position as an international higher education destination.

The inaugural intake is scheduled for February 2027.

The collaboration will introduce three undergraduate programmes: BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance, BSc (Hons) Criminology, and BA (Hons) Media and Communications.

The initiative aims to provide Malaysian and international students with greater access to quality British higher education while studying in Kuala Lumpur, offering an alternative to pursuing a degree overseas.

Established in 1839, the University of Chichester has a long educational heritage and is recognised for its student-centred approach, teaching excellence and commitment to graduate employability.

The three programmes have been selected to address evolving industry demands and emerging career opportunities.

Accounting and Finance will prepare students for careers in financial management, accounting, banking and corporate finance. Criminology will provide insights into criminal behaviour, justice systems and contemporary security challenges, while Media and Communications will equip students with knowledge relevant to digital media, public relations and corporate communications.

Dr Sajilal Divakaran, Director of LSBF Malaysia, described the collaboration as an important milestone in the institution’s growth.

We are delighted to collaborate with the University of Chichester in bringing quality British degree programmes to Malaysia. This partnership reflects our commitment to making internationally recognised education more accessible, affordable and relevant to the needs of today’s students and employers.

Our ambition is not simply to provide qualifications, but to develop graduates with the knowledge, practical skills and global perspectives required to succeed in an increasingly competitive world.

We look forward to welcoming our first cohort in February 2027 and building a strong, long-term relationship with the University of Chichester, he said.

The introduction of these programmes represents another milestone in LSBF Malaysia’s strategy to strengthen its international academic offerings and support Malaysia’s aspiration to become a leading regional education hub.
